As I grew up, I always wanted to travel and decided then to study international business as a passport to the world. At the end of my studies, in 2001, I had my internship at the Belgian Consulate in Montréal and it was the beginning of a long journey of 17 years abroad. It is in Montreal also that I got initiated into yoga.
For seven years, I followed an international career in the corporate world in North America and Europe. Then, following a sequence of events, I decided to go to the East towards Asia in 2007; a need to cleanse myself and get centred again. I started to learn Buddhism for 2 years while backpacking in South East Asia, USA, Central America and Belgium (Huy). Then, I continued my way around the world till I got settled in India for 7 years to learn yoga. I had already done two teacher trainings in the Indian School of Breathing and Krishnamaccharya Yoga Mandiram, in Chennai – India, before embarking on the teacher training of the Isha Hatha School of Yoga. I gave my first yoga classes in 2009.
